have gone on to work in some of the most notable advertising agencies
and architectural firms, have found exciting positions in galleries
and museums, and have established careers as artists, teachers,
art therapists, jewelers, and ceramists. The Art

that support the artistic culture of the College and surrounding
community. For those who choose the arts as a primary focus the
Art Department provides the means to reach a high level of excellence
in their creative areas. All students enrolled in art classes

nature of learning in a liberal art environment. We encourage
our students, as women, to understand the social context and explore
