After Lindsay got her ASM award, she and Dr. Karnas papered my door with
her acceptance letter. This is what it looked like a few weeks later when
I'd already taken down half of them. |
And that began the whole papering routine. Lindsay and Sam also received
internships to go to Maryland and Virgina. And Jackie did research in
NYC. |

Not too long later, Lindsay and Carissa H were in a terrible car accident.
We got this for Lindsay as she recovered from back injuries |
and the lab, classes, and department folks signed the flower petals of
this stuffed flower for Carissa who spent two weeks in ICU and about a
month and a half in the hospital and rehab. We have missed you, Carissa,
and are so pleased you are healing so well! |
