Cedar Crest's well-equipped labs are used for courses and research. The Gladys Erney Deitrich Genetic Engineering Lab (top left) is used for courses in molecular genetics, techniques courses (for example, DNA Sequencing), and research with Drs. Joy Karnas and Andre Walther.

Freshman biology labs take place in Pool Science Center 118 (middle left), which is also used by Dr. Alan Hale's research team.

The Biodiversity and Conservation Biology Lab (bottom left) is used for a variety of courses, and for research with Drs. John Cigliano and Amy Faivre.

Other facilities include two microbiology labs, the Anatomy and Physiology Lab, the Vera Canova Genetic Engineering Lab, the W.M. Keck Bioinformatics Lab, the W.M. Keck Imaging Center, and a greenhouse.
