decision making within the larger macro-environment with respect to market

look at health care delivery systems with emphasis on administrative functions,
terminology, accreditation, personnel management, medical staff relationships,
and the many legal aspects of health care management.

marketing topics within the context of service-oriented firms. Discussion
topics include the management and measurement of service quality, management
of service encounters, the addition of value with supplementary products
and services.

and reimbursement processes in health care facilities. Topics include
financial statements, prospective payments under DRGs and other sources
of revenue, cost information systems and cost/benefit analysis, capital
financing and risk management.
