Student Research Opportunities Student research projects take many different forms, ranging from the development of scholarly position papers on a critical issue in education, to policy research, to action research in teachers’ own classrooms to more formal quantitative and qualitative studies that may be presented at national conventions or submitted for publication in an educational journal. If a student has a specific research idea they wish to pursue, the student should contact the Program Director for further information.

Students enrolled
in the Master of Education are required to become competent as consumers of educational
research. We encourage our students (especially those considering
or planning to pursue doctoral studies in the future) to become involved
in research studies conducted by Cedar Crest College faculty.
