The Education Department of Cedar Crest College is committed to the preparation of education professionals who have the knowledge base, skills and values that allow them to provide high-quality educational experiences for K-12 students.

We seek to prepare teachers to become active participants in our democratic society and in the political processes that develop policy related to educating the nation’s children and youth -- especially through service as advocates for both students and the profession.

Through partnerships with local school districts, the community and the greater college community at CCC, we seek to foster the development of teachers who are role models themselves and who actively seek enrichment and extension of their knowledge, abilities and values as lifelong learners.
