The writing
minor consists of 18 credits chosen from a range of creative and
practical writing courses. The minor allows students with a special
interest in writing to develop their abilities further and gives
students in all majors the opportunity to develop and improve
their writing skills. Students will find that a writing minor
can enhance their major and provide skills necessary for success
after college in graduate school or on the job.
Courses counting for
the minor include offerings from Chemistry, Communication, English,
Management, History, Honors, Political Science, and Theater. All
creative writing courses, all WRI-2 courses, and appropriate special
topics count toward the minor. Students may also choose to complete
a three-credit internship.
The contact for the
program is Dr. Carolyn
Segal, Associate Professor of English. |
