Dr. Johnston specializes in high-risk pregnancy, parenting issues, perinatal loss issues and healthcare for women. She is a certified family nurse practitioner.  Her research interest is in physiology of the immune and stress systems as they occur in late pregnancy. She is also involved in testing of the Well-Being Picture Scale.
