Faculty Partnerships

Faculty at Cedar Crest play a vital role in advising students and graduates about career and graduate school options.  The Career Planning Office is available to assist faculty with educating students about the career issues and the graduate school application process.  The Director of Career Planning is available to present programs in classes (or to student organizations) on topics such as  resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, networking, and other career and job search-related concerns.  Presentations can be arranged by calling ext. 4648.  Faculty are invited and encouraged to:

    • Tour the Career Planning Office and Resource Library;

    • Familiarize themselves with the Internship Program and the Internship Program Guidelines;

    • Visit the list of Internship Opportunities which details the over 300 local internship sites to which students may apply for internships.  Please note that, with the appropriate academic and departmental approval, students may also seek internship sites and opportunities not on this list.  Below are some additional sites students may visit to explore internships by career field outside this geographic region: Internships by Career Field and Rising Star Internships.
