Getting Started

Choosing a major can seem like a daunting and overwhelming task, but you have the information as well as the resources to make it easier!

  • If you haven't already done so, read through the college catalog to learn more about the majors and courses offered at Cedar Crest College. Talk to professors in the departments you are considering and also speak to students. Meet with your faculty advisor for guidance or schedule an appointment with the director of Career Planning.
  • Take some of the self assessments, like Focus, to discover what occupations match your interests and values.
