The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest for 2008
This annual competition - now in it's 17th year - is designed to challenge college students to analyze the urgent ethical issues confronting them in today's complex world. Full-time juniors and seniors at accredited four-year colleges and universities in the US are welcome to enter the Contest and compete for $10,000 in prizes and the opportunity to meet Elie Wiesel in New York City. The Institute for Humane Studies awards scholarships up to $12,000 for undergraduate or graduate study in the United States or abroad. Last year IHS awarded 120 scholarships to outstanding undergraduate, graduate, law, and professional students who are exploring the principles, practices, and institutions necessary to a free society through their academic work.

Health Care MBA Program at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business
The Health Care MBA Program is designed for individuals seeking careers in hospitals, insurance, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, the medical device industry, and consulting in health care. The program has been in existence for nine years, and is one of only a handful of health care specific MBA programs among the nation's top 30 MBA programs. Approximately 10% of Simon students have a concentration in Health Care. This highly selective program integrates the health care students with added specialization in the health care industry. The Health Care concentration is a small intimate program offering a high degree of personal attention and interaction between health sciences students, health sciences faculty and industry executives.

We will be providing two full tuition scholarship to highly qualified graduates from select undergraduate institutions for our health care MBA program. Students receiving scholarships will have guaranteed summer internships and executive mentorship. Select recent placements include: Merck, Glaxo-Smith Kline, Eli Lilly, Medtronic, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CIGNA, Aetna, Deloitte, Cap Gemini-Ernst Young, Boston Consulting Group, Charles River Associates, Kodak health Imaging, and Bausch & Lomb.
