Making marine Science Matter
Washington, D.C.       19-24 May 2009

The Conference is over and it was a huge success. In total the IMCC attracted over 1,200 registrants and participants, from all over the world. The event featured up to 15 simultaneous sessions, a three-day marine protected area management training course, more than 20 side events and meetings, and incorporated the Second International Marine Protected Area Congress. As a result of the attendance and the number of sessions and meetings, the IMCC is believed to be the largest marine conservation conference ever held.

The Conference Proceedings is now posted on the Program & Special Events page along with a PDF of the program.
