Strategic Planning Process
To the Cedar Crest community:
This fall, under new leadership and with renewed energy and optimism
for the future, the campus community will launch a major planning
project: the development, writing and implementation of a
Strategic Plan.
Strategic Planning is, first and foremost, an inclusive, open,
interactive process. There will be opportunities at multiple
points for students, alumnae, trustees, faculty and staff to shape each
part of our planning. There will be special time set aside at
Board meetings, faculty meetings and Student Government meetings;
Information Sessions and focus groups of alumnae, staff and students;
and special January Summits at the beginning of the Spring
Semester. It is essential that everyone is fully engaged during
the entire process. Click on the Campus Involvement link at the
left for more information about how each group can contribute.
This website will keep the community updated and provide the
opportunity for everyone to participate in the planning process at an
individual level using the special email address below. Links to
all documents, including Cedar Crest’s new Mission Statement and Vision
Statement, will enable you to see each new piece of the Strategic
Planning process as it unfolds. We hope that you will visit this
page frequently and, most importantly, that you will contribute your
feedback and ideas.
With the President, I would like to invite you to participate in our
Strategic Planning process, whether it be from within our walls or from
across the country. The comments you make from your unique Cedar
Crest experience and perspective will help us shape a Strategic Plan
that builds a firm foundation for the College to thrive in the next
decade and beyond.
Please send your comments to sp@cedarcrest.edu
Cordially,
Marie Wilde
