Our
resident expert on flavors and fragrances,
Dr. Rauner actively pursues projects that
incorporate undergraduate research experiences
into new labs.
His
interest in natural products assures that
undergraduates will always find
an interesting topic to investigate as
an independent research project; for example,
the synthesis of flavoring agents or the
separation and identification of fragrant
substances. Dr. Rauner teaches biochemistry
and chemistry for nursing and nutrition
majors. His
most recent publications are in the Journal
of Chemical Education. |
