Privileges for Honors Students

An Academic Scholarship Program for incoming students provides up to half-tuition per year to eligible women ranked in the top 10% of their high school class and achievers of 1150 or more on the SAT I (25 or more on the ACT).

Awards are based solely on level of academic achievement; financial need is not considered. Students are notified soon after acceptance. Priority registration guarantees honors students their first choice of freshmen courses during their initial term.

All students of Cedar Crest who qualify may participate in College and departmental honor societies including Delphi (Cedar Crest’s Honor Society) and international/national honors society chapters in biology, business administration, communications, drama, English, foreign language, history, mathematics, nursing, philosophy/religion, psychology and sociology.
