LuAnn McCracken Fletcher, Ph.D.

B.A., M.A., Lehigh University; Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles Dr. Fletcher has published an anthology of Victorian prose, as well as scholarly articles on Charles Dickens, Charlotte Brontë, and Virginia Woolf. She teaches subjects ranging from Shakespeare to Women Writers to British Fantasy, with her area of specialization being Victorian literature.

Henry Marchand, M.F.A.

Mr. Marchand teaches Creative Writing, as well as courses in World Literature and American Literature. His short stories have appeared in publications including The Seattle Review, Laurel Review, Rosebud, The Willow Review, and Elysian Fields Quarterly. He has also published textbooks on writing fiction and multicultural literature.

Dr. Meade has been instrumental in the College’s commitment to an education informed by humanistic and ethical values and to self-knowledge, sensitivity and the capacity to respond to the complexities of society. She has contributed to the development of The Ethics Institute, a joint venture between Cedar Crest College and Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network and to the development of The Ethical Life course for sophomore students and the Junior Seminar in Ethics.
