Catalog Description: A comprehensive course integrating the structure and function of the human body with a problem- based approach. Studies include the chemical basis of life, the structure and function of the cell and the histology and function of tissues with an emphasis on the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous and sensory systems. Dissections, including cat dissection, are an integral part of the laboratory experience. The lecture and laboratory parts of the course must be taken together. Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours.

Prerequisites: BIO 122 or permission of the instructor
