Catalog Description: This course is designed for students who are interested in conducting independent research under the guidance of a faculty member from the Department of Biological Sciences, but have not developed a research proposal for their independent project. This course may be repeated; 2 credits per semester is the standard load. This course may not be applied to the Thesis Option for any major.

Prerequisites: Permission of the faculty supervising the research
