BIO 353 Independent Research Catalog Description: This course is designed for students who wish to complete the Thesis Option for their major by conducting independent research under the guidance of a faculty member from the Department of Biological Sciences. Students who choose to conduct thesis research should have developed a proposal that outlines their research plan prior to registering for this course. This course may be repeated; 2 credits per semester is the standard load. The Thesis Option requires a minimum of 4 credits earned by working in a coherent research project.
