Business Administration

  The business administration major is a study of techniques and processes of management with an opportunity to study concepts of eCommerce, computer applications, marketing, human resources, finance, economics, international business, and entreprenuership leading to a Bachelor of Science degree.   Disciplines studied are those necessary to prepare students for successful careers as marketing managers, bankers, financial analysts, hospital administrators, human resource managers, and information systems managers, among others.

Internship  (3 – 6  credits)

        Required junior or senior year, internships may be served in financial institutions, industrial, or commercial firms, retail establishments, or other business environments, or in governmental agencies.  Modifications of the internship requirement may be possible for those who are currently employed.
 

In addition to the above requirements, students are required to take four upper-level BUA electives (200 or higher).  Students are strongly encouraged to choose these four electives to satisfy the requirements for a Concentration listed below.
