Information Systems
The information systems curriculum is designed to produce graduates equipped to function in entry level information systems positions with a basis for continued career growth and/or to pursue graduate studies in management information systems, computer information systems, information science, or information technology systems.
In addition to a strong foundation in technical knowledge, the information systems program will also emphasize individual and group interaction, including written and oral communications. A mathematics course provides quantitative techniques, and business courses focus on common business functions and management. An internship designed as the capstone experience gives the student the opportunity to gain work experience during her senior year.
